About Me!
Hello! My name is Jordyn Mann, and I am a recent graduate at the University of Kentucky. However, after graduation, I have relocated to Winter Garden, Florida! My degree is in Art History and Visual Studies with a minor in photography. I have been in love with photography ever since I got my first digital camera in middle school. This camera immediately became an extension of my body! After all, the best camera is the one that you have on you.
I took my first art class in college and I immediately fell in love with the process! I have always had a passion for art though and I’ve explored my creative passions through many different mediums including special effects makeup! My professors and advisors immediately saw my bright future in the arts and I got accepted into the University of Kentucky’s prestigious School of Art and Visual Studies my freshman year. Now, after graduating, it’s safe to say that I have grown immensely in my artistic talent. I have learned how to utilize photoshop, studio lighting techniques, darkroom, and alternative photography processes to continue exploring my creativity and bringing my artistic vision to life!

While I love my digital cameras, my film camera is my prized possession. My photography now consists mostly of darkroom prints made on 35mm black and white film. I love to take candid and raw photos of the people I love and capture the deep passions and beauty within them. I love to capture God’s beauty and grace, showing people how beautiful life is through photography. I love to experiment and push the boundaries of perception through my street photography, landscape pieces and alternative processes. I hope my photographs unlock unforeseen beauty in the viewer just as taking them has opened my eyes to the often-forgotten beauty all around us! Please reach out if you have any questions or inquiries about my photos and I would be happy to help!

God Bless,
Jordyn Mann.
